Features and Specifications
The Spinner Sprint has the following technical specifications:
- Machine Dimensions: 48 x 20 x 55”
- Machine Weight: 121 pounds
- Maximum Capacity: 350 pounds
- Flywheel Weight: 43 pounds
- Water bottle holder: Yes
Thanks to the 43 pound flywheel, the Spinner Sprint is equipped to encourage all major muscle groups of your body to participate in the motions. Consequently, the cycling movements will help you quickly tone up your hips, glutes, thighs, waist and abdominal areas. The spinning bike is also equipped with a chain drive system connecting the flywheel to the pedals, which will perfectly mimic the movements associated with regular outdoors cycling.
This particular bike comes with an impressive 350 pounds of maximum user weight capacity, so it can also be used by obese athletes with no problems. It also comes with incremental resistance that can be adjusted through the tension knob. This will allow you to switch between different types of workouts instead of allowing your body to adjusting to the same type of training session.

Comfort and Ease of Use
The bike’s handlebars can be adjusted in three different angles to perfectly suit your requirements. Therefore, it can easily be used by larger families since it adapts to various members. Users can grip the handlebars at different angles, including the end of the bars, shoulder width and center. More importantly, it is also textured and comes with a rubber covering that will prevent your fingers from slipping, even during more energetic training sessions. This will also prevent blisters if your hands are sweaty. Users who cycle in aero positions did, however, need to resort to elbow pads for added comfort.
As far as the seat is concerned, it is contoured and padded to provide the optimal level of comfort, regardless of how long you train. Some people did have to get some gel cushions but most people were satisfied with the padding. More importantly, the seat is also wide enough to fit different body sizes and deliver comfort regardless of your size. The pedals are also large enough to accommodate a variety of shoe sizes. More importantly, they are attached to a solid crank system, hence enabling you to stand up and pedal with absolutely no risk of the pedals bending or flexing in any way. Best of all, they are also equipped with toe baskets that will deliver a super-secure grip. You can also tighten the straps according to your shoe size. Athletes should still note that the pedals are not compatible with cleated shoes. However, it is possible to switch the pedals and go for standard ones that will fit your shoes. The space between the pedals are also comfortable enough to help you cycle for longer periods of time.
Assembly and Parts
Assembling the Spinner Sprint has been shown to be relatively easy. Some customers did find the assembly process to be quite time consuming since they required up to two hours to set up the different parts. Upon delivery, you will actually need to indulge in some DYI to join the frame, flywheel, chain, pedals and saddle together. If you’re a complete amateur, you will be glad to know that the boxed packaging does include a variety of tools and accessories to help you with this step. You will also receive a detailed instructions manual that also includes illustrations, allowing you to assemble this machine as quickly and fuss-free as possible.
A few drawbacks have been reported about this machine, in spite of its amazing user rating. The main complaint was related to the lack of a console. Most of the time, the digital console is used to keep track of your number of calories burned, distance elapsed and the likes. However, these details are not provided by this machine, which means that you will not be able to track your data over the long run. Some people also complained about the lack of seat padding but this was not a widespread complaint.
All things considered, this is quite a recommended buy. The spinning bike may be slightly more expensive than other home machines such as the Sunny SF-B1002 but still, considering its commercial grade frame and several features designed to help you lose weight, it’s still a great investment. The Spinner Sprint even includes 4 free spinning DVDs titled “Maximum Results”, “Turn and Burn”, “Train and Tone” as well as “Ultimate Energy.” It is protected by a 1 year warranty.
